On my weekly charity shop trawl I picked up these for a grand total of £4!

 As for the Sophie Kinsella... I have just (well this year) finished a degree in English literature. During which I had to read Ulysses and Chaucer and Pamela and barely allowed myself to read for fun (except when I read The Pursuit of Love, Love in a Cold Climate and Don't Tell Alfred when I was supposed to be writing my dissertation...). Even before my degree I only let myself read books I deemed worthwhile and important. Yawn. Now that I am an unemployed bum I have all the time in the world to read trashy novels that I can get from the library or for 50-99p in  charity shops and I haven't read this much in ages!
